We made it through last weekend's Toronto road closures and the hectic weekend that was the Santa Claus Parade.

Luckily, this weekend is looking a little lighter so, traffic should be moving a little better for your weekend travels.

Drivers should only be concerned about the Weston Santa Claus parade on Sunday, and a few construction projects going on around the city.

Effective: Thursday at 7:00 a.m. to Friday at 11:59 p.m.

Main St. Closure

Effective: All weekend

  • Main St. closed from Doncaster Ave. to Lumsden Ave.
  • Main St. closed from Gerrard St. E. to Kingston Rd.

The Queensway Lane Closure

Effective: Monday, November 12 to December 22

  • The Queensway lane closure eastbound from Parkside Dr. to Claude Ave.

Eglinton Square Closure

Effective: Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Eglinton Square closed from Victoria Park Ave. to Eglinton Ave. E.

Cavalcade of Lights

Effective: Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

  • Queen St. W. closed from University Ave. to Yonge St.

Effective: Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

  • Kimberley Ave. closed from Lyall Ave. to Swanwick Ave.
  • Kingston Rd. closed westbound from Victoria Park Ave. to Main St.
  • Lyall Ave. closed from Walter St. to Kimberley Ave.
  • Swanwick Ave. closed from Kimberley Ave. to Main St.
  • Victoria Park Ave. lane closure from Bracken Ave. to Kingston Rd.
  • Walter St. closed from Kingston Rd. to Lyall Ave.

Jarvis Closed Queen To Dundas/Water Main Repair

Effective: All weekend

  • One northbound lane and one southbound lane on Jarvis Street between Dundas and Queen streets are closed.
  • Pedestrian access available.
  • Drivers and cyclists will be urged to use either Church or Sherbourne.
