Leafs players, they're just like us.
Decked out in jerseys, skates, and some even holding Tim Horton's coffee cups, Toronto Maple Leafs' players rode the TTC to get to their outdoor practice at Nathan Phillips Square on Thursday.
On Thursday afternoon, the Leafs are hosting a public practice at one Toronto’s most iconic outdoor rinks, planning to hit the ice at noon.
The outdoor practice will be followed by a three-on-three tournament at the rink. And for the second year in a row, the players took public transit from Scotiabank Arena to the Queen Street rink.
Videos and photos shared online show the boys in blue heading into Union Station and walking down Queen Street to get to the outdoor rink.
Here's what went down ahead of the afternoon game of shinny.
