Sold: STOREYS Moving Into New Toronto Office

STOREYS is officially moving into a new home.

We're trading our old digs for the Site. Toronto Campus: a beautifully repurposed industrial laneway building in Little Italy that's been on our wish list since we first laid eyes.

And like any good snap-up, this one came down to the details. TACT Architecture Inc. led the renovation, threading contemporary design through century-old bones without losing what made the space worth saving in the first place.

"A hundred-year-old building tucked in a laneway off College Street, in the heart of Little Italy, wasn't what we expected to find, but it's exactly what we needed," said Ryan Clarke, Site.'s VP Business Development. "A space with enough character and enough room to bring our Strategy, Creative, and Media teams together under one roof."

We'll be sharing that roof with the Toronto Site. family, including our SitePartners collaborators and our SiteMedia publication siblings — seven national titles now under one banner — which means more collisions in the hallway and more excuses to swap notes.

Beyond the internal upside, we're looking forward to hosting our Toronto community and partners here too: real, in-person facetime, CN Tower views included.

OUR FAVOURITE THING

The laneway character. We can't help but love that our real estate and development-anchored publication gets to enjoy such a quintessentially "us" environment. Laneway builds are booming, and we couldn't be more into it — literally.

What's more, a hundred years of history doesn't get repurposed like this every day; TACT's design is one that both honours the building's 100-year past and nods to the possibilities of the future.
