The race doesn't officially start until Friday, but there are already several roads closed in the city for the Honda Indy.

As of noon on Tuesday, nine roads were shut down so barricades could go up. Affected roads include Canada Blvd., Newfoundland Rd., Nova Scotia Ave., Nunavut Rd., Ontario Dr., Prince Edward Island Cres., Princes' Blvd., Quebec St. and Saskatchewan Rd.

Starting at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Lakeshore Blvd. W. from Strachan Ave. to Ontario Dr. will also be impacted by a lane closure.

Additional road closures will continue on Wednesday and Thursday with Strachan Ave. closing southbound from Fleet St. to Lake Shore Blvd. W. and Lake Shore Blvd. W. closing from Strachan Ave. to British Columbia Rd. On Thursday, Manitoba Dr. will also be fully closed for the race.
