Canada's most expensive home is for sale and it's more spectacular than you imagined.
Oakville’s Chelster Hall has hit the market and made its mark as the most expensive residential property on the Multiple Listings Service, according to agents Paul Maranger and Christian Vermast.

The overwhelming country estate is owned by retired beer company executive Hugo Powell. So, in a way, you can say that Canadians have greatly helped to fund its initial purchase.
Of note, there is also an 800-square-foot chapel on the grounds and the mega-mansion was designed with a full attic so more bedrooms could be added — you know, in case you run out of room. (What's 50,000 square feet, anyway, right?)
