What Do You Think is the Best New Development in the GTA?

While the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is home to dozens of incredible new developments, only one can be hailed as the region's best project.

That's right, BILD's People's Choice Award returns for another year, presenting 10 new developments -- either planned or already under construction in the GTA.

The annual BILD Awards, presented by the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD), recognize the astounding achievements of developers, new home builders, architects, designers, and sales and marketing professionals across the region.

This year, BILD will be handing out five awards: Best New Community (Built), Best New Community (Planned or Under Development), Project of the Year Low-Rise, Project of the Year Mid/High-Rise, and the People's Choice Award.

While the first four category winners are determined by BILD's judges, the winner of the People's Choice is up to the public to decide. Yes, that means you, dear real estate reader.

According to BILD, ten projects have been short-listed -- including five low-rise projects and five high or mid-rise projects -- as part of the annual awards program.

As in previous years, the public is invited to vote for their favourite project for the chance to win a $250 VISA pre-paid card. To vote, simply visit www.bildpca.ca by midnight on August 31, and the People's Choice Award winner will be announced at the BILD Awards on October 7.
