Our Favourite Thing
When it comes to penthouses, a large portion of what you're paying for is the views, and the views from this penthouse atop the Milano are plenty. By our count, the windows and outdoor terrace provide up to at least 270-degree views of the surrounding area, which some may find to be worth the price of admission.
The entire penthouse is finished with herringbone walnut flooring, and all those floor-to-ceiling windows are equipped with motorized blinds.
Wrapping around the penthouse is the outdoor terrace, which includes a dining area, lounge areas, and a private hot tub on top of that. (It's literally on the rooftop.)
The penthouse includes a four-stall parking space with its own private garage gate. And as part of the Milano building, residents also have access to a variety of amenities such as an outdoor barbeque area, a putting green, a dog play area, a fitness centre, a multi-purpose room, and a concierge.
The Milano was completed in 2018 by BC-based Solterra Development Corporation, who calls it "a brilliant symphony of concrete and glass" with a three-storey lobby that "sets an underlying tone of opulence and grandeur." We're hard-pressed to disagree.
