Grosvenor Property Canada (GPC) has signed its second major industrial transaction on Annacis Island this year: Doka Canada Ltd. is set to enter a 10-year lease at 830 Carlisle Street, commencing this month.
The 15-acre property, previously occupied by Russel Metals, will support Doka's continued expansion in Western Canada, effectively doubling the company's existing footprint in Metro Vancouver.
Doka is one of the world's leading providers of formwork and scaffolding systems for the construction industry, and Grosvenor is using the company's formwork systems on the master-planned Burnaby community Brentwood Block.

Annacis Island
Doka operates in more than 60 countries as a subsidiary of Austria's Umdasch Group, supplying engineering and formwork solutions for major infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects worldwide.

The lease follows a June agreement between Grosvenor and S&S Activewear, also on Annacis Island, at a time when demand for the industrial hub remains strong against limited available supply.
Grosvenor first acquired land on Annacis Island in 1952 as its first major international investment. The company now owns and manages 185 acres on the island across both industrial and mixed-use holdings.
