Vancouver’s “hottest nerd bar,” Storm Crow, is now open at the corner of Church and Wellesley and Torontonians are excited to get their geek on.
While Toronto doesn’t have a shortage of sports bars to grab a cold one and watch the game, Storm Crow Manor is the first of its kind in the city. Branded as a “sports bar for geeks,” General Manager Doug Gregoire hopes the space will unite “uber nerds” and “junior nerds” alike. Without sports!
The Manor enlisted Toronto’s ‘Solid Design Creative’ and Vancouver’s ‘Squircle Works to revamp the Victorian heritage building on Church. The result is an epic venue, which is a far cry from its sister locations.

The space boasts four fully stocked bars, two full-service kitchens, a massive wrap-around front patio and eight intricately themed rooms.
With creative names like the Victorian Hunting Lodge, the Apothecary, the Eclectic Room and the Mary Shelley Mad Scientist Bar, every room has it’s own quirky, unique or bone-chilling vibe that draws you in with its intricate detail.

Whether it's out of curiosity or excitement or for that perfect Instagram shot, you won't be able to resist strolling through the bar. For those brave enough, head downstairs, past a wall of black skulls and dripping candles, into the catacomb-style washrooms where you’ll wish you had just held it in.
With odes to Marvel, The Overlook Hotel Bar from The Shining, Doctor Who, HP Love Craft and every fandom you could think of, Storm Crow Manor appeals to the inner kid inside of all of us.
With its kitschy movie posters, massive handmade props and piles of board games scattered throughout every single room, you'll want to see and touch it all. Thankfully, playing around is always encouraged.
Storm Crow Manor offers a one-of-a-kind, full sensory experience. Rent a Dungeon Master to play Dungeons and Dragons with your friends, or rent out one of the ‘secret’ rooms for a more intimate gathering. The possibilities are endless.

In its oddball fashion, the menu is the perfect fusion of nerdy names and exciting eats. Most notable on the menu is the Dungeon Burger: a fate-decides-what-you’re-gonna-get burger. Literally. Will it be beef, chicken or Loin of Bugbear? Order the Dungeon Burger and leave it in the hands of fate to decide!
Even though the space is already pretty epic, Storm Crow Manor is currently only open for dinner service starting at 5 p.m. Once finishing touches are put into place on November 5, the Manor will be open for lunches and will start taking reservations.
