Vancouver-based real estate services company rennie has announced the opening of a new office in downtown Victoria, in a move that serves as the company’s official expansion into Vancouver Island.

The new Victoria office will be located at 502A Pembroke Street, along the coast of Rock Bay, and will be up and running in January, with rennie's full-service suite of brokerage, intelligence, and developer service offerings.

The expansion into Vancouver Island comes shortly after rennie's expansion into Whistler, which the company announced in late-August. The Victoria office is rennie’s first office outside of Metro Vancouver, on top of its 7 realtor workspaces (or “r-spaces”) throughout British Columbia. Vancouver Island is a fitting place for expansion, with Victoria’s population growing more than 7% between 2016 and 2021 alone, according to StatCan.

Further, rennie announced that Tony Zarsadias is joining rennie as its new Vice President of Consumer Services in Canada, and will be leading the ongoing advancement of the brokerage in Canada.

"I'm looking forward to delivering for the Consumer Services team," said Zarsadias. "rennie is an industry leader when it comes to having the most effective technology, comprehensive market intelligence, and highly impactful marketing. Collectively, the rennie team provides their clients with the confidence they need to make informed decisions when buying, selling, or building a home or community.
