A lakefront estate in Mont-Tremblant, listed at $19,800,000, has sold — setting a new record as the highest residential sale ever recorded in the region through the Québec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers' Centris database.
The sale, brokered by Sotheby's International Realty Canada, involved a Canadian buyer represented through the Sotheby's Québec network. Further details of the transaction are being kept private.
The property sits within a private enclave on Lake Tremblant and was custom-designed by Richard Landry, the Los Angeles-based architect known for his ultra-luxury residential work and the founder of Landry Design Group. Interiors were handled by designer Seta Marachlian.
The residence features vaulted ceilings exceeding 30 feet, reclaimed wood beams, and a 25-foot bay window facing the lake. Six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, and two ensuite bathrooms are spread across a layout that includes a great room, formal dining spaces, a gourmet kitchen, cinema room, bar, and wine cellar.
A dedicated wellness level houses a spa, sauna, and gym. Outdoor amenities include a saltwater infinity pool, a beach, dock, and a covered heated terrace. Parking accommodates up to 13 vehicles.
The sale arrives as Mont-Tremblant continues to outperform the broader Québec market.
According to QPAREB, residential sales in the municipality rose 17% in Q1 2026 compared to the same period last year — against a 2% decline provincially. Median prices in the area climbed 22% year over year in the same quarter.
Listing broker Liza Kaufman, founding partner of Sotheby's International Realty Québec, said that Mont-Tremblant's exemption from foreign ownership restrictions helped attract international interest alongside the Canadian buyer pool.
Additional details of the sale remain private, according to Sotheby's.
