Thanks in large part to the popular TV series Yellowstone (and its spin-offs), ranch properties are in popular demand. And as it turns out, buyers don't need to go to Montana for ranches, as there are some gorgeous ones right here in British Columbia.

Look no further than Cedar Stone Lodge, which sits at 1987 Barkerville Highway in Quesnel, a city located in the Cariboo Regional District of British Columbia that's just south of Prince George.

The property sits on the outskirts of the city, about a 15-minute drive away, just north of the Quesnel River.

The property was originally constructed in 2012 and includes nine bedrooms, four bedrooms, and 7,439 sq. ft of living space, all across a sprawling 27-acre lot that includes the main lodge home, a huge garage that doubles as a workshop, and acres upon acres of green space. This is without mentioning private access to a small lake located at the northern end of the property.

A long private driveway welcomes you into the property. You'll find the main lodge on the right-hand side, which features large stately wooden posts surrounding the perimeter of the home.

Immediately upon entry is the central living space, which consists of a spacious living room, gourmet kitchen, and two dining areas. The space is surrounded by large windows looking out onto the property, the kitchen is equipped with a series of high-end stainless steel appliances, and all throughout, stone flooring runs underfoot.

The main level of the home also features numerous glass doors that lead out onto the deck, which means even more living space, not to mention a perfect place for a barbecue and outdoor dining setup. What's more, because of the slope of the site, the deck's elevation overlooks the nearby lake and forests. Dinner and a view, for you?

The main home's five bedrooms are scattered across two levels; they are all incredibly spacious and feature an abundance of windows that welcome in natural light. The primary bed features one of the home's six stone fireplaces, as well as a luxurious ensuite bath that's equipped with dual vanities, a standalone tub, and a semi-circle-shaped enclosed shower.

This home is also complete with an entertainment area that includes a full-size bar with space for a pool table (or two) and then some, as well as a standalone walk-in wine room and library.

Just outside the main home waits the detached three-car garage, which undoubtedly has space for more than three cars, and which boasts an upper level that could be transformed into a workshop or used for additional storage space.

Then, of course, there are the sprawling grass fields on all sides of the property, numerous clusters of tall evergreen trees waiting to be explored, and private access to the nearby lake.

Indeed, this type of incredible property doesn't hit the market very often.
