Monday, February 17, marks Family Day in Toronto. Since most Ontarians have the day off, we’ve compiled a list of places that are open and closed for the holiday to keep you and your family entertained all day long.

Family Day is not a national holiday, but it is observed in other provinces including New Brunswick, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. While most businesses will be closed in and around the city on Monday, there are a few exceptions.

Places That Are CLOSED:
- LCBO and Beer Stores
- Banks
- Provincial and municipal government offices
- Post offices and mail delivery
- All Toronto Public Library branches

Most grocery chains will be closed on Family Day. However, there are a few exceptions including:
- Galleria Supermarket: 7040 Yonge Street; 865 York Mills Road; 558 Yonge Street; 351 Bloor Street
- Loblaws: Carlton Street
- Pusateri’s: 57 Yorkville Avenue; 1539 Avenue Road
- Saks Food Hall: 176 Yonge Street
- The Food Depot: 155 Dupont Street
- The Kitchen Table: 389 Spadina Road; 595 Bay; 10 Queens Quay West; 705 King Street West
- Various Rabba locations

- Bramalea City Centre: 25 Peel Centre Drive, 11 am to 6 pm
- CF Eaton Centre: 220 Yonge Street, 11 am to 7 pm
- Hillcrest Mall: 9350 Yonge Street, 11 am to 6 pm
- Pacific Mall: 4300 Steeles Avenue, 11 am to 8 pm
- Promenade: 1 Promenade Circle, 11 am to 6 pm

Public Transit
The TTC will operate on holiday service on Family Day with subway and most routes starting at 6 am. Any routes that do not normally operate on Sundays will not operate on the holiday.
