It's another busy weekend in the City of Toronto.
From the east end to the west, there are festivals and events occurring everywhere you look. With a large part of Line 1 closed on the TTC this weekend, you'll want to make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get to and from each and every one of these events.

1. Taste Of The Danforth
Where: Danforth Ave.When: Friday, Aug. 9 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 10 from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 11 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The country's largest street festival is back for its 26th anniversary. Over the years, Taste of the Danforth has transformed from a food festival to full-on block party with performances, contests, rides and games. Take the TTC to Broadview, Chester, Pape or Donlands terminals, which all offer direct access to Danforth Avenue.
2. Humber Bay Shores Waterfront Festival
Where: Marine Parade DriveWhen: Saturday, Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The annual waterfront festival is going to be bigger and better than ever this year. For its eighth edition, the Humber Bay Shores Waterfront Festival will include 40+ vendors and sponsors including 35 local farmers selling fresh produce, meat and bread. The festival will also reprise its popular Kids Zone complete with bouncy castles, face painting and stilt walkers.
3. Christie Pitts Film Festival
Where: Christie Pitts ParkWhen: Sunday, Aug. 11 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Every Sunday until August 25, the Toronto Outdoor Picture Show is putting on films at Christie Pitts Park. This weekend, catch "Grey Gardens" with short films "Neighbours" and "Glitter's Wild Women." While the event is free, you can also reserve your spot on a private blanket for $50.
4. Family Fun Festival In Trinity Bellwoods
Where: Trinity Bellwoods ParkWhen: Saturday, Aug. 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Spend the day with friends and family at Trinity Bellwoods Park. This year's festival includes arts and crafts, bouncy castles, food and entertainment. If you're stopping by, be sure to stick around for the main event: the Big Toddle. The popular competition sees little ones crawl, walk, toddle or run around a special track in the park. While the festival is free to attend, those that wish to participate in the Big Toddle must register. All proceeds from the registration will go back to College Montrose Children's Place, which serves 3,000 families across 10 sites.
5. Paws In The Park
Where: Woodbine ParkWhen: Saturday, Aug. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Come out to Woodbine Park to support the Toronto Humane Society. This annual event is bigger and better than ever thanks to fantastic prizes, great food and tons of entertainment. This year's event will also see the return of the adoption tent where you just might find your forever pal. Bring your pup or just come to check out the ones available for adoption. Either way, it makes for a great day.
6. The Sweetery Festival
Where: David Pecaut SquareWhen: Saturday, Aug. 10 from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 11 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Indulge your sweet tooth at Canada's largest sweets festival. Over the weekend, local chefs and culinary students will showcase their talents in the square by preparing and selling delectable treats that are sure to hit the spot. This year's festival will also include a FREE outdoor screening of Disney's "Aladdin" remake, as well as live performances from local musicians.
7. Summer Music In The Garden
Where: Toronto Music Garden - 479 Queens Quay WestWhen: Sunday, Aug. 11 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Stroll through the Toronto Music Garden and take in the delightful sounds of live musical performances. This weekend stop by to listen to the musical stylings of Ramneek Singh, Ravi Naimpally and Hardeep Chana as they perform classical Hindustani songs.
8. Waterfront Night Market
Where: Ontario Place (West Island)When: Friday, Aug. 9 from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 10 from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Sunday, Aug. 11 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The ultimate festival of festivals, the 10th annual waterfront night market is back with free admission to the pan-Asian food festival and Kre8ions Artisan Night Market. Those looking to enjoy a drink can also check out the Waterfront BeerCraft Festival. Tickets for the beer festival start at $20 and include five to 10 drink tokens.
9. Toronto Artisan Market
Where: Trinity Bellwoods ParkWhen: Sunday, Aug. 11 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Support local artists and the crafting community by coming out to this curated indie market. Shoppers will find everything from food to plants to accessories and clothing at this trendy outdoor market.
10. Yoga At The Bentway
Where: The BentwayWhen: Sunday, Aug. 11 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Join the TRIBE Fitness team as they prep you for Monday with an outdoor yoga session that will strengthen your body and mind. Yogis at all levels are welcome. All you need to do is bring a mat.

After being rained out a few weeks ago, TAS Design Build has rescheduled their "Moana" movie night at The Planet. Stop by to watch the flick and arrive early to purchase snacks and refreshments.
Jazz Night At The Vista
Where: Vista Eatery - Ontario PlaceWhen: Sunday, Aug. 11 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Right up until the Labour Day weekend, Vista Eatery is turning into a live music venue for emerging jazz artists. This weekend, enjoy a live performance by Humber College's Dennis Kwok.
