Drake Gifts Each Raptors Player A Custom-Made Championship Jacket
When the NBA champions take the floor tonight at Scotiabank Arena against the Detroit Pistons and their former coach Dwane Casey they won’t be wearing their massive diamond and gold rings, but who knows, maybe some of them will flash the NBA championship jackets Champagne Papi gave them recently in honour of winning the title.
Everyone knows that the Raptors, off to a 3-1 start this season, gifted Drake his own NBA championship ring and that Drizzy also had a $150k custom championship ring made for himself by the exclusive Jason of Beverly Hills.
This week, popular Raptor and NBA finals hero Fred VanVleet was first to flash the new jacket, which come with the whole roster listed on one side and, of course, the famous OVO owl on the other side.
The phrase “The Best in the World” adorns the top of the back of the jacket and there’s also a raptor clinging onto the Larry O’Brien championship trophy.
Each individual jacket has the player’s nickname set between a flag of Canada and the flag of their home country.
The jacket is similar to one Drake wore at the unforgettable championship parade back in June.
No word yet whether fan versions will be on sale at tonight’s game or how much they cost…but we want one.
