It's almost Halloween! That means the city is starting to celebrate with spooky events. This weekend has TONS of events that are either free, cheap and sure to get you in the spooky mood.

1. A Black Art Fair
Where: NIA Centre For the Arts — 524 Oakwood Ave.
When: Saturday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Price: $5
This fair provides attendees with an opportunity to meet local Black artists and invest in their talent. You can purchase amazing pieces onsite to add to your collection. Admission is only $5 and provides you with access to a seminar, all-day refreshments and a complimentary drink ticket.
2. PLAY DATE: Fall Edition
Where: stackt — 28 Bathurst St.
When: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Price: Free
This magical event comes back for its second year in a row bringing families a day of fun activities. Tickets are FREE and invite you to a craft station, popup playground, pumpkin patch photo booth and drag king puppet show. On site, you can purchase meals for $5 including grilled cheese, mac and cheese and hot dogs.
3. Greenhouse Opening Tour!
Where: Sundance Harvest — 70 Canuck Ave.
When: Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Price: Free
This family friendly event introduces you to a new greenhouse in the heart of Downsview Park. Farmer Cheyenne Sundance will take visitors on a tour through this warm and toasty space. You can also join a Q+A and donate seeds for the organization's springtime wild flower seed ball making.
4. GHOSTBUSTERS (1984)- 35th Anniversary Screenings!
Where: Revue Cinema — 400 Roncesvalles Ave.
When: Saturday from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Price: $10
In celebration of the 35th anniversary of the release of Ghostbusters, Revue Cinema is hosting two days of screenings this weekend. Watch Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson star as a quartet of Manhattan-based paranormal investigators.
5. Boo at the Zoo!
Where: The Toronto Zoo — 2000 Meadowvale Rd.
When: Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Price: $9 (Admission for children under age 12 is FREE with an adult)
Head aboard the Zoomobile for an outdoor adventure that runs rain or shine to hear spooky Halloween stories. Enjoy Autumn foliage and plenty of photo opportunities with friends and family. Plus, there's 10km of scenic walking trails to explore.
6. Fall 2019 Movie Wardrobe Sale
Where: Queen Elizabeth Theatre — 190 Princes' Blvd
When: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Price: $10
Looking for fabulous fashion treasures for all genders? Head on over to this exciting market where you can shop an eclectic mix of contemporary, designer, vintage clothing, accessories, handcrafted goods, deadstock, samples, one-of-a-kind pieces, fabrics, notions, wardrobe supplies and more. Keep an eye out for Halloween costumes too.
7. Fall Plant Sale Fundraiser
Where: Allen Gardens Park and Conservatory — 19 Horticultural Ave.
When: Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Price: Free
This Sunday, get ready to shop succulents and house plants all grown with love by volunteers. Make sure to bring cash as this is the only way you can purchase greenery. Plants cost between $3 to $25 and include air plants, silver jade, variegated jade, gollum jade, string of buttons, pencil cactus and aloe vera, just to name a few.
8. We Bathe Here — a solo exhibition by Cat Lamora
Where: Margin of Eras Gallery — 1684 Queen St. W
When: Friday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Price: Free
This solo exhibit by Cat Lamora is an immersive paper installation exploring the themes of "connection within a shared and very vulnerable space; the Korean bath house." Lamora is a Korean-Canadian paper artist living in Toronto who, through the medium of paper, preserves the "brief liminal space created at the crossroads of diaspora consciousness, memory, culture, and nostalgia."
9. The Hermit's Lamp Official Reopening Party
Where: The Hermit's Lamp — 1076 Bloor St. W
When: Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Price: Free
Celebrate the reopening of this space dedicated to the metaphysical and home to herbs, incense, crystals, essential oils, tarot decks and Orisha supplies. Enjoy a coffee or tea while you learn about how to find the right crystals for you and how to operate them.
10. Zooboo!
Where: High Park Zoo — 77 Deer Pen Rd.
When: Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Price: Free
What's that? Another fun, spooky event at a zoo? That's right! The High Park Zoo is hosting a fun event with an inflatable corn maze, pumpkin games, mask making, a fire truck, police cruisers and horses on site. Come enjoy a day of family friendly activities and see some cute animals.
