Bon appetit!
Fabbrica
Address: 49 Karl Fraser Rd.Cost: Lunch $28 Dinner $43Recommendation: The pizza! Thanks to the restaurant’s wood-burning brick oven from Naples, these pizzas are simply incredible.
Chef Mark McEwan’s humble Italian restaurant is one of our favourites in part because of the aforementioned pizza oven, but also because of the restaurant’s great location. Found in the heart of Shops at Don Mills, Fabbrica is steps away from Chef Mark’s upscale grocery store McEwan’s.
Lee
Address: 601 King St. W.Cost: Dinner $53Recommendation: Try the signature cod cheung fun and then try not to devour it before your server returns. Practically impossible.
How often do you get to have dinner made by an Iron Chef for just $53? Susur Lee’s namesake restaurant is a Toronto landmark. The prestigious chef has won countless awards and accolades all while running multiple successful Toronto restaurants.
Miku
Address: 10 Bay St.Cost: Lunch $33 Dinner $53Recommendation: The Aburi sushi is a must. The torched sushi literally melts in your mouth.
Aburi Restaurant's first east coast location, Miku, is just as stunning as all its sister restaurants. And the food is just as magnificent. The 7000 sq. ft. restaurant boasts an impressive bar, patio and multiple private dining rooms. Consider ordering a drink with your meal, Miyazaki #2 is phenomenal.
Oretta
Address: 633 King St. W.Cost: Lunch $28 Dinner $43Recommendation: Sometimes the simplest dishes make the biggest impact. Such is the case for Oretta’s burrata pugliese.
If you haven’t been to this King West hotspot yet, now’s your chance. This amazing art deco-style eatery offers authentic Italian fare and modern day dishes.
R&D
Address: 241 Spadina Ave.Cost: Dinner $33Recommendation: The scallop ceviche is tangy, salty and oh so good.
Asian fusion at its finest. R&D is a staple in Chinatown for a reason. The space its self offers a cool 90’s R&B style vibe while still managing to be family friendly. But the menu’s where it’s at. What more do you expect from MasterChef Canada’s own Alvin Leung and Eric Chong?
Ricarda’s
Address: 134 Peter St.Cost: Lunch $28 Dinner $43Recommendation: Ricarda’s pasta dishes are out of this world good. Get the mushroom raviolini.
Another Toronto restaurant with a stunning aesthetic. Ricardas was practically built with Instagram in mind. From the moment you walk in you’ll be blown away by the marble tabletops and gold finishings. And when your food comes you’ll be blown away again. Just try not to lick your plate clean.
The Carbon Bar
Address: 99 Queen St. E.Cost: Dinner $43Recommendation: The beef brisket and ribs — it is a Southern-style barbecue joint after all!
You’d never guess from the outside, but this restaurant is not only massive, it’s really cool too. The perfect place for a crowd, Carbon Bar is a must-try for barbecue lovers. We’d also recommend splurging on a drink. Trust us, you’ll want to the second you see their impressive bar.
The Wickson Social
Address: 5 St. Joseph St.Cost: Lunch $23 Dinner $33Recommendation: If you’re heading there for lunch, give the pulled brisket toast a try.
The Wickson Social isn’t your average Yorkville restaurant. The laid back vibe here is great for lunch with friends and co-workers. The food is great and filling to boot, but what we really want you to feast on is the gorgeous mural in the main dining area and the stunning bar that looks like it belongs in a posh Manhattan supper club.
Ufficio
Address: 1214 Dundas St. W.Cost: Lunch $28 Dinner $43Recommendation: The shaved brussels sprouts salad is simply delicious.
A gorgeous restaurant with incredible ambience. Uffico is the place to take your pescetarian friends. The Italian seafood menu is simply divine. No wonder Ufficio once landed on Joanne Kate's coveted Top 100 list.
WISH
Address: 3 Charles St. EastCost: Lunch $28 Dinner $43Recommendation: If you’re going for dinner, give the branzino a shot.
With its cute and whimsical decor, Wish is one of Yorkville’s most beloved restaurants. The restaurant’s charming atmosphere is great for dinner with family, date night with your love or a fancy night out with your most fashionable friends.
