TTC riders are in for a headache this weekend. All weekend long, commuters on Line 1 will face closures between St. Clair and Sheppard-Yonge stations. Then, on Sunday, Line 2 commuters will have their own headache to deal with between St. George and Broadview stations.

What’s Closed – Aug. 24 and 25
There will be no subway service on Line 1 between St. Clair and Sheppard-Yonge stations on Saturday, Aug. 24 and Sunday, Aug. 25 due to Metrolinx construction on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. That covers Davisville, Eglinton, Lawrence and York Mills stations.

Late Opening – Aug. 25
Line 2 subway service between St. George and Broadview stations will start by noon on Sunday, Aug. 25 to accommodate beam replacement on the Prince Edward Viaduct. That covers Bay, Bloor-Yonge, Sherbourne and Castle Frank stations. Prior to noon on Sunday, shuttle buses and Wheel-Trans service will operate.

How To Navigate The Service Disruptions
Shuttle buses will operate along the normal subway route. Buses will stop at all the regular subway station stops, just outside the typical zone. Wheel-Trans will also be available to TTC riders requiring accessible service.
Normal service will resume on Monday morning.
