We’ve teamed up with Zoocasa to bring you the cheapest rentals across the City of Toronto. From Nov. 15 to Dec. 15, the most affordable units were in East York, Scarborough, The Beaches, Midtown and Roncesvalles Village.

1. Rearlwr – 360 East Ave., Scarborough — $900

This is an ideal spot for a York University student as this apartment is located right off campus. With a bike in tow, a lucky school goer could walk or bike to class.

This one-bedroom is super close to the Warden Subway Station. The kitchen looks nice! There’s a sizeable bedroom with a closet and extra storage space. Enjoy a brand new washer and dryer exclusively for you.
3. Bsmt - 69 Dunkirk Rd., East York — $1,090

Right off Woodbine, this delightful bachelor suite has had a recent renovating, bringing more light into the basement. The bedroom is large with a big window so you never feel too in the dark. Walk less than fifteen minutes south and you'll find a subway station. Plus, all amenities are right nearby.
4. 8 Sorauren Ave. — $1,095

This rare gem is located right off the trendy Queen St. W with access to fantastic shopping, restaurants and public transit. The layout is interesting to say the least, and the space could use a paint job. But for the right person, this could really work!

Okay, so not going to lie, some of the decorating here is a tad creepy. But this spot is well-situated near the TTC, No Frills, Go Transit, schools, churches, and parks. You could certainly make this spot your very own!
7. Lower - 26 Pine Ave. — $1,150

In the heart of The Beaches neighbourhood, this steal is so close to the water, you can almost taste it! Also nearby are great restaurants, bars, parks and shopping on Queen St. E. The TTC is also within reach, making the commute downtown a breeze.
8. B1 - 1122B Avenue Rd. Scarborough — $1,195

This recently renovated basement apartment is located in a well-maintained building in Lawrence Park South. You'd be close to the TTC and subway living here.
9. 14 Bobcat Terr., Scarborough — $1,200

In this location, you'd enjoy ensuite laundry with access to schools, parks, transporation, shopping and transporation. The hardwood floors are a nice touch but the yellow walls may depend on personal preference.
10. Bsmt - 111 Glen Springs Dr., Scarborough — $1,200

This one bedroom home is just north of Finch and a shopping complex, meaning every amenity you need is righth nearby. The teddy bear is . tad creepy for a listing photo so proceed with caution.
