STOREYS is proud to be part of a major expansion of one of Canada's most recognized industry awards programs.
40 Under 40 has undergone an industrial revolution. The iconic awards program will still recognize up-and-coming leaders, but for the first time ever, nominees from industrial backgrounds beyond just construction will be accepted — including development, manufacturing, environment, energy, mining, and more.
The program is powered by SitePartners and the SiteMedia family of publications: SiteNews, ReNew Canada, STOREYS, Water Canada, Environment Journal, Waste & Recycling, and HazMat.
Nominations for 40 Under 40 Industrial Leaders are officially open and can be submitted right now using this link.
SitePartners and SiteMedia are searching for top young professionals from all corners of Canada's seldom celebrated industrial sector. That includes standout professionals in the development field.
Development is an industry where the results are visible to everyone, but the people behind them rarely are. The housing communities, mixed-use corridors, and urban infill projects transforming Canadian cities don't happen without the young professionals putting in the unglamorous work — the approvals, the financing rounds, the stakeholder meetings that go sideways. If you know someone in that group, now's the time to say so officially.
Who we're looking for
Previous years have featured individuals who have led major initiatives, presided over explosive growth, pioneered new approaches, and given back to others through mentorship. Honourees have included architects, contractors, designers, engineers, equipment operators, estimators, executives, occupational health & safety managers, project managers, supervisors, superintendents, tradespersons, and many more in the consulting, law, finance, and technology communities.
How to nominate
All eligible nominees must be professionals in the industrial sector who are 39 years or younger, a resident of Canada and currently working in Canada. They must have their name and details submitted through the official 40 Under 40 Industrial Leaders website. Only nominations submitted through this process are eligible. You may nominate yourself or someone else, and you may submit nominations for more than one person.
Choosing the winners
A diverse panel of judges will consider each nominee's professional achievements, leadership pedigree, impact on the industry, and more. The top 40 scores will be this year's winners. Not only will they be recognized as among their industry's most promising young leaders, they will be invited to attend a winner's reception — early bird tickets are now available here.
Don't wait — nominate someone today.
