It’s the first weekend of April, and Toronto is buzzing with a ton of spectacular spring events.

While Mother Nature tries to make up her mind about whether it should rain or snow, get out of the house and check out these fun activities happening in the city. From bunny yoga at the Toronto Humane Society to psychic readings at the Metaphysical & Spiritual Show, there’s lots to see and do in Toronto this weekend.

1. Toronto Art Crawl Spring Pop Up

Where: The Great Hall 1087 Queen St. W.When: Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.Cost: $8 online or $10 at the door

If you missed out on the One of a Kind Spring Show last weekend, have no fear! At the Toronto Art Crawl, you can shop art, fashion, home decor, body care and more from 55 local artists and designers. The event will also feature a live DJ all day long, and provide face painting for the kids.

2. Toronto’s Disappearing Main Streets: Buildings and Businesses

Where: Toronto Central Grosvenor St. YMCA Centre — 20 Grosvenor St.When: Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Cost: $15 (includes lunch!)

Join the conversation on Toronto’s changing landscape at this symposium presented by the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario (ACO). The event will feature a wide range of speakers and perspectives, from architects to heritage consultants to developers.

3. The Metaphysical & Spiritual Show of Toronto

Where: Exhibition Place Heritage Court Hall — 19 Nunavut Rd.When: Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.Cost: Free!

Known as one of the largest spiritual gatherings in the city, this free festival celebrates the metaphysical and spirituality. With more than 100 exhibitors, there’s so much to see and do. Participate in a meditation class, get a psychic reading, shop essential oils and gemstones, speak to life coaches, and more!

4. Seed Starting Workshop 2019

Where: Kimbourne Park United Church — 200 Wolverleigh Blvd.When: Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.Cost: Free!

This hands-on workshop is fun for the whole family! Not only will you learn how seeds grow, but you’ll have the chance to plant some for Garden@Kimbourne. Attendees will also get to plant seeds in eco-friendly pots to take home.

5. Good & Gooder Spring Market 2019

Where: The Assembly Hall — 1 Colonel Samuel Smith Park Dr., EtobicokeWhen: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.Cost: Free!

This weekend is full of spring markets! Good & Gooder market will showcase unique handmade goods created by more than 30 artisans and small business owners in the GTA. There’ll be live music and food vendors in attendance as well, ensuring shoppers have a good time.

6. Flow & Sculpt

Where: Dream Yoga Dance— 371 Danforth Ave.When: Sunday from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.Cost: $20

This hour-long, low impact aerobics class combines elements of yoga and pilates to energize and empower you. The class uses a variety of props, such as blocks, hand weights, and TRX suspensions, to help participants build strength.

7. Summerhill Coffee Cupping

Where: Boxcar Social — 1208 Yonge St.When: Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.Cost: Free!

Coffee lovers and connoisseurs unite! At this weekly meetup, you’ll learn how to properly smell and taste coffee while sampling coffee roasters from around the world. You’ll also learn what factors make coffee so complex (and delicious!).

8. Easter Eggstravaganza Yoga With Shelter Bunnies!

Where: Toronto Humane Society — 11 River St.When: Saturday at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., or 3 p.m.Cost: $20

If you’ve always wanted to do yoga with bunnies, now’s your chance! The Toronto Humane Society is hosting three gentle, flowing yoga classes in partnership with Big Stretch Yoga Centre. Kids five and older are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. Kids’ crafts and Easter treats will also be available at the event.

9. The Geeky Craftorium

Where: See-Scape 347 Keele St.When: Saturday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.Cost: $5 suggested donation, or pay what you can

More than 20 vendors will gather at See-Scape this weekend to sell handmade items with “nerdy flair.” Think geeky crocheted creations, jewelry, planters and more! See-Scape’s bar will also be open for guests to enjoy a cocktail while they shop.

10. Riverside Wine & Craft Beer Fest

Where: Riverside — Queen St. E. between the DVP and Empire Ave.When: Saturday until 5 p.m.Cost: Free (but there’s a $5-$10 suggested donation)

This week-long celebration ends on Saturday with an expo featuring free wine and beer craft tastings. The event also promises talks, demos, pop-up food vendors, and a silent auction.

Bonus: Discover The 6: High Park

Where: High Park Club — 100 Indian Rd.When: Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.Cost: $25

This scavenger hunt event offers a unique way to explore High Park and Roncesvalles. Teams of four to six people will compete for prizes by solving puzzles and collecting points within these two Toronto neighbourhoods. An after-party will follow, and all proceeds raised will go towards The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and the Humber College Scholarship Fund.
