The Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) has a new president.
London-based real estate broker Stacey Evoy has assumed the role of President of OREA. The announcement follows the Association’s annual general meeting yesterday.
In her role, Evoy will represent Ontario’s 92,000 REALTORS® on the 2022 OREA Board of Directors. She will lead OREA’s efforts to continue to bring affordability home for future generations of homeowners across the province and raise the bar on professional standards and ethics in the industry, says the association.
“We have made significant strides in recent years, successfully advocating for homeowners and establishing Ontario REALTORS® as North American leaders in professional standards in real estate,” said Evoy. “I am extremely proud and honoured to be the OREA President for 2022 and I look forward to working with our Members, Member Boards, Associations, their clients, and their communities, as we continue to guide and help Ontario families find great places to live, work, and thrive.”
Evoy comes with nearly two decades of experience in the real estate industry and is currently a Broker with Royal LePage Triland Realty in London. She is a member of the London St. Thomas Association of Realtors (LSTAR) where she served as a Director for eight years before becoming President in 2016.
Evoy has served as a member and Chair of several LSTAR committees and advisory groups and has been a member of OREA’s REBBA Review Task Force, Government Relations, and Standard Forms committee.
Evoy takes over the position from David Oikle.
