In addition to the Raptors game and a slew of Halloween parties, the city will shine this weekend in everything from a world-class art show and the arrival of a highly anticipated Broadway musical, to a party alongside dinosaur bones.

Get Terrified as Legends of Horror Transforms Casa Loma
Legends of Horror gets guests in the spooky spirit, as the annual event takes over the grounds of the famous castle, offering an immersive theatrical interpretation of classic horror characters and terrifying installations. The 2 km outdoor walking trail winds through dimly lit tunnels to the basement of the castle and under the street, to the historic -- and allegedly haunted -- stables. Find more info here.
Make Fetch Happen at the Mean Girls Musical
The anticipated Mean Girls musical has finally opened in Toronto. The show sees the 2004 cult classic film reimagined as a vibrant musical set in the present day. The hilarious production offers a dose of nostalgia in the form of both nods to the film and in its portrayal of high school triumphs and tribulations in this talent-packed production. Celebrate Day of the Dead at Evergreen Brick Works
On Sunday (10am to 3pm), the sprawling Evergreen Brick Works will come alive with a celebration of Mexican and Latin culture for their Day of the Dead celebration. Discover a New Artist at Art Toronto
Art Toronto returns to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre this weekend (October 27-30). Known as Canada’s premier art fair, Art Toronto features over 90 galleries across North America and the world. Walk Through a Terrifying Zombie Apocalypse
This year, Liberty Group has created an immersive experience in partnership with Secret City Adventures called Zombie Apocalypse. Taking over an abandoned facility south of Casa Loma, it invites patrons to enter the world of fictional pharmaceutical giant, Biolux and its new wonder drug: the Biolux Serum, a purported solution to aging and disease, which renders subjects into cannibalizing contagious zombies. Get inspired and support the talents of Indigenous creators at the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival (Oct. 18 to 23). Taking place at various venues across the city, the annual event is celebrated as the world’s largest Indigenous showcase of film, video, audio, and digital and interactive media. The second ROM After Dark of the season goes down this evening at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). Get a Reality Check with Kevin Hart
Ditch the couch and Netflix for the night and capture beloved comedian Kevin Hart in person for a change. Check Out a New Culture Hub
Powerhouse couple Kim Newport Mimran and Joe Mimran are opening the doors of a new gallery and artistic hub called the Cultural Goods Gallery. The first exhibition, FROM SAMO©… TO SAMO©… EVOLUTION OF STREET: ART & TYPE will highlight the work of New York-based artist Al Diaz. Now open, it features a collection of work spanning Diaz's forty-year career, from his early-teen graffiti collaboration with Jean-Michel Basquiat to his later prolific text-based collage works.
