1. Nuit Blanche 2019

Nuit Blanche 2019 is taking over downtown Toronto, Fort York and Scarborough for a spectacular night of art and culture. Check out our guide for everything you should know ahead of the event. Plus, the subway is running all night-long to get you home safely.

2. The Garrison 10 Year Celebration

Where: The Garrison — 1197 Dundas St. WWhen: Friday from 8 p.m. to 11:30 pm and Saturday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.Price: Free

In celebration of its ten year anniversary, The Garrison is hosting a weekend of free parties. You can stop by to watch a show and expect no cover. You can see performances by Hot Garbage, Peeling, Kaleidoscope Horse and Haxan.

3. The Wellness Market 2019

Where: Artscape Wychwood Barns —601 Christie St.When: Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.Price: $10

This new health, wellness, and natural therapies event comes to Artscape Wychwood Barn. Check out more than 30 vendors, yummy treats, mini treatment sessions, workout classes, a wellness panel and a "Meditation Station."

4. Touch the Trucks Toronto

Where: Downsview Park — 40 Carl Hall Rd.When: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.Price: $5 online, $10 at the gate (cash only)

All proceeds of this event will go to SickKids. Bring the kids down to the park to check out some big wheels! Children can interact with all sorts of vehicles, including those used for public service, crime fighting, emergency, utility, construction, transportation and delivery.

5. Storytent at Artscape Wychwood Barns

Where: Artscape Wychwood Barns —601 Christie St.When: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.Price: Free

Every Saturday, you can head over to a tent at Artscape Wychwood Barns for stories at a farmers' market. This family friendly event is ongoing and a perfect place to take your kids this weekend.

6. Pancakes and Booze Art Show

Where: Revival Bar — 783 College St.When: Saturday from 7 p.m. to Sunday at 1 a.m.Price: $10

As one of the largest pop-up experiences in North America, this underground art show has free all-you-can-eat-pancakes. Expect exhibits from more than 75 local artists and live performances from DJs and music producers.

7. Craftchella

Where: Liberty Commons — 42 Liberty St.When: Saturday from 12 p.m. to 6 pmPrice: $10

This Saturday, head over to Liberty Village for a local craft beer festival. For $10, you get admission, a sampling glass and two tokens to enjoy untapped Ontario beer. Extra tokens are only $2 each.

8. Leaside Block Party

Where: Trace Manes Park — 110 Rumsey Rd.When: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.Price: Free

The second annual Leaside Block Party comes to Trace Manes Park in support of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Join this neighbourhood event for food, activities, entertainment and local vendors.

9. Really Really Free Market 2019

Where: Campbell Park — 255 Campbell Ave.

When: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Price: Free

This market is entirely FREE. Drop something off, pick something up or stick around. You can find clothes, books, music, kitchenware, pet supplies, homemade goods, haircuts, yoga classes, massages and all sorts of other goods and services. 

10. Party Run - 8km Music Bootcamp

Where: The UndergroundGarage Bar — 365 King St. W

When: Saturday from 7:15 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Price: Free

This Saturday night, join Midnight Runners for an 8km run followed by an afterparty. Show up at 7:15 p.m. to drop off your bag because the run officially starts at 8 p.m. Expect a solid crew of runners, backpack speakers and dynamic exercise stops.
