BC Real Estate And Development Industry Hires: December 2024

December typically sees a slow-down when it comes to job changes, but we still saw a fair share of hires and promotions this month. Notably, there were two big promotions at both Beedie and CBRE, various other developers such as StreetSide Developments and Edgar welcomed new members to its team, and a new leader was named for National Bank's Western Canada Real Estate Group.

Here are all the people who changed jobs or received promotions last month.

Louise Elsey has joined Devon Properties as COO.
Scott Harwood has been promoted to Director of Development at Northland Properties.
Jordan Dawson has been promoted to EVP of Industrial Development at Beedie.
Nathalie Jabour has been promoted to VP of Sales & Strategy at Beedie.
Bry Christopherson has joined StreetSide Developments as Director of Sales.
Christy-Ann Jordaan has been promoted to Senior Paralegal at Bosa Properties.
Jelisa Mayes has joined Edgar Development as a Project Manager.
Daniel Choi has joined Welbec Properties as an Investment Analyst.

Dan Ruimy, Mayor of Maple Ridge, has been named Chair of Metro Vancouver’s Housing Committee.
Ryan Gilmore has joined the City of Surrey as a Policy Planning Manager.
Tejinder Besla has joined the City of Surrey as a Residential Plan Reviewer.
Trisa Atwood is joining the City of Vernon as a Senior Planner, after 10 years at the City of Kelowna.
