Summer's days are numbered, which means it's high time to cross the last items off your seasonal bucket list. And, perhaps, add one more to-do -- a ride on a Muskoka Steamship Cruise -- to the index.
Back open just in time for some end-of-season action, a cruise through 'Skoka might sound a little cheesy, but we trust you'll find the experience well worth it. Now operating with enhanced safety policies including reduced capacity, it's prime time to snag a spot on a cruise ship that'll offer you even more personal space than you'd normally get on board.

With a heritage older than Canada itself, Muskoka Steamships have had vessels on the water since 1866. On board one of the attraction's (younger) models, you'll have the opportunity to experience Muskoka in a way that's unmatched -- instead of just looking out at the view, you'll be completely surrounded by it.
Sailing rain or shine, you can count on sights of stunning Muskoka Bay -- and the grand estates that the region is famous for -- from perspectives you've never taken before. You'll be on the inside, looking out.
You can sail for an hour ($34 per adult), or opt for two ($42 per adult), depending on your level of love for relaxing on the water. On board, you'll also be able to purchase food and drinks to enjoy on the outdoor deck.
Operating through to September 17 between 10:30 and 5:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and between 12:30 and 4:00 on Thursdays and Sundays, there's still plenty of time to soak up the sun's rays while floating through the cool, deep bays.
If an autumn cruise is more your style (think: crisp air and a cozy wool sweater), you can hop aboard between 10:00 and 5:30 from Tuesday to Thursday, or on weekends, from September 19 to October 17.
Take note: masks are required onboard, and you'll need to wear them while walking around on deck or passing through indoor spaces. While seated outside with your fellow sailors, however, mask removal is permitted.
