And sure, Environment Canada may have forecast that Toronto is going to be hit with a slight storm, but that shouldn't prevent you from checking out what's taking place throughout the city this weekend — just promise us you'll bring an umbrella and bundle up if you decide to do so.

The Bentway Skate Trail: Winter Season
Underneath The Gardiner, you’ll find a magical 220-metre, figure-eight skate trail with a winter village and skate lessons and rentals available. The winter village will offer hot chocolate and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for skaters and spectators while warming stations will help visitors get toasty before getting back on the ice. So head on down to The Bentway and skate to the sound of music as you explore an area that was once vacant and forgotten.

Toronto Maple Leafs Outdoor Activities at Nathan Phillips Square
If you didn't make it to the Leaf's outdoor public practice on Thursday, there is still plenty of fun to be had at Nathan Phillips Square over the weekend. Hockey fans can look forward to Maple Leafs alumni games, a skills competition, mascot games, live entertainment, giveaways, activations, free public skating, and more.

Chris Hadfield Presents: Generator
Canadian astronaut, Chris Hadfield, is bringing Generator back to Toronto's Roy Thompson Hall on Friday. During the experience, scientists, comedians, celebrities, musicians, and even a dancing cyborg will take to the stage. Generator is Toronto’s one-stop-shop for engaging with some of the world’s most incredible and overlooked talent. The Phantom of the Opera
Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom Of The Opera will make a triumphant return to Toronto as part of its North American Tour. The story follows The beloved story and thrilling score will be performed by a cast and orchestra of 52, making this Phantom one of the largest productions now on tour.

Mayor’s Skate Party
You're invited to kick off 2020 with Mayor John Tory and city councillors at Kew Gardens in the Beaches neighbourhood. The annual event is a fun, family-friendly afternoon filled with music, hot beverages, and of course lots of skating. Don’t have skates? Don’t worry, the skating party will have free skate rentals. However, quantities are limited and will be rented on a first-come, first-served basis.

No Pants Subway Ride
The annual ‘No Pants Subway Ride’ returns to Toronto for another cheeky year this Sunday. Hosted by the No Pants Society, the risqué event will be taking place simultaneously in over 50 cities around the world with the intention of bringing a smile to commuters’ faces. Here in Toronto, the pantless ride will be followed by a parade from Wellesley Station to a no-pants dance party (location to be announced).
