As thousands of front-line workers and essential staff continue to risk their lives to protect residents from the coronavirus pandemic, Toronto buildings are lighting up to show them some love.

In a show of support for the doctors, nurses, first responders, grocery store workers, delivery drivers, long-term care workers, and the countless others that have been working relentlessly to put the health of the community ahead of their own, buildings throughout the city have been lighting up glowing hearts in their windows that can be seen from the streets below.

During such an unprecedented time, the illuminated messages of support serve as a symbolic beacon of hope for everyone and are truly a moving sight to see.

And since we're all being encouraged to stay inside to practice safe social distancing, here's a look at some of the buildings showing some love.
