At his press conference this afternoon, Premier Doug Ford is expected to announce more details surrounding Stage 3 of the province’s reopening.
This announcement comes as the daily COVID-19 cases in the province continue to slow, with just 129 new cases reported in the latest update and 32,534 (88.6%) of all cases resolved.

According to the province, Stage 3 includes the reopening of most remaining workplaces and community spaces, while carefully and gradually lifting restrictions. Public health advice and workplace safety guidance will remain in place and stay available, while large public gatherings will continue to be restricted.
Twenty-four of Ontario's 34 public health units entered Stage 2 just over a month ago on June 12, and seven more on June 19. Toronto and Peel, the province's most populous health units, then proceeded into Stage 2 five days after that.
Premier Ford is scheduled to hold his daily COVID-19 briefing at 1 pm.
