Fall is officially here, and with it, firmer real estate market conditions as all home types have enjoyed positive growth both on a year-over-year and month-over-month basis.

Detached homes continue their strong performance with a 54-per-cent increase from the same week in August, and a respectable seven per cent from 2017, in line with recent reports that house demand will only grow in the medium-term.
Condos for sale in Toronto, while posting a nine-per-cent improvement from August, are up only two per cent from last year, indicating that while demand is healthy, the segment is booming with as much vigour as before.

Townhouses and semi-detached homes both enjoyed respectable gains, up 15 and 12 per cent month over month, and 35 and six per cent year over year.
