On Friday morning, Toronto residents woke up to a thick blanket of fog that all but swallowed the city whole, with the aftermath resulting in some pretty eerie photo opportunities.
Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for Toronto at 6:30 am on Friday morning, as the thick fog began rolling in. At times, the display was both beautiful and mesmerizing, yet also slightly ominous. As a result, the tops of Toronto buildings, including the CN Tower, were pretty much non-existent.

Luckily, Torontonians documented the other-worldly sights and posted their snaps and video online for those that missed the display to enjoy.
