Queen Street West BIA is looking to reboot and rebrand. As part of their strategy to increase traffic, the business improvement association will soon be offering free WiFi on Queen West.
The new WiFi hotspot will launch between Simcoe Street and Bathurst in early 2019. Service will be provided by Markham's own Besify.
Over time, the BIA plans to extend the access all the way down to Dufferin Street.
“Queen Street West is always thinking progressively and we are confident that by delivering dedicated free access Wi-Fi, we will be boosting the shopping and hospitality experience for all our customers and visitors,” Shamez Amlani, Queen Street West BIA Chair, said in a press release.
