Light Up the Beach, The Beaches
The boardwalk along the Beaches in downtown Toronto is magical enough in the summer months, but imagine it lit up in twinkling lights and reflecting off the waters of Lake Ontario! At Light Up the Beach, you can enjoy over 80,000 festive light displays throughout the holiday season. Marvel at the light display along the beaches from November 30, 2019 to February 23, 2020.
Toronto Christmas Market, Distillery District
A popular destination for Torontonians and visitors every holiday season, the Toronto Christmas Market is the perfect place to check out Christmas light displays as well as a stunning 100-foot long illuminated tunnel. In addition to the light displays, be sure to feast on artisan treats and drown yourself in the sounds of Christmas carols. The market is open now to December 23, 2019.

Aurora Winter Festival, Ontario Place
If you haven't been to Ontario Place lately, consider adding this one to your list of to-do's this holiday season. The Aurora Winter Festival at Ontario Place will help you get into the Christmas spirit with its mesmerizing light displays, as well as other cheery Christmas additions, including a hidden village by the North Pole, market huts, entertainment, food gardens, and even amusement rides. The event takes place from now through to January 5, 2020.
Glow Gardens, Toronto Congress Centre
If you really want to give your eyes something to gander at, make your way to the Toronto Congress Centre where you will be dazzled by a million holiday lights! There are other things to check out here as well, including light sculptures, local gift vendors, sumptuous treats, and local brews. Glow Gardens takes place from November 28, 2019 to January 4, 2020

Gage Park, Brampton
Consider venturing a little outside the Toronto area and make your way to downtown Brampton where a myriad of Christmas light displays await. At the hub of the downtown area is Gage Park, where the soaring trees are lit up in beautiful lights and surrounded by a circular skating path, all decked out as part of the city's annual Tree Lighting celebration. The light display will be up from now until early January, 2020.
Holiday Magic, Yorkville Village
If you missed the official tree lighting ceremony as part of Yorkville Village's Holiday Magic, don't fret. You can still enjoy a gorgeous array of holiday light displays lining the streets of this quaint village, including a glorious Christmas tree, from now through to New Year's Eve.
Winterfest, Canada's Wonderland
New this season is the much-anticipated Winterfest in Canada's Wonderland. Canada's Wonderland may be well known for its thrilling rides and funnel cakes all throughout the summer, but the amusement park is now tapping into the winter market and adding a new event to its lineup with Winterfest. You'll be completely enveloped in Christmas trees, decorations, and light displays everywhere you turn. Enjoy skating on the frozen lake at the foot of Wonder Mountain surrounded by countless trees covered in Christmas lights. The event takes place on select nights from now to December 31, 2019.

Cavalcade of Lights, Nathan Phillips Square
A staple in Toronto over the holidays, the annual Cavalcade of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square features a host of festive holiday lights strung all around the square, including 525,000 lights on the central 60-foot Christmas tree. Catch this year's display now through to December 31, 2019, and be sure to pick up a Christmas gift or sample a treat or two while you're there.
Nutcracker Christmas, Casa Loma
Homeowners all across the city enjoy decking their homes out with Christmas lights, but there's no rivaling the display that you'll see on the most famous home in the city: Casa Loma. Catch a magical display of lights draped all over the castle on the outside, then make your way through the halls indoors where you'll be greeted by generously-lit Christmas trees, including the central tree in the Grand Hall. The event runs from December 15 to December 30, 2019.
