Only 2 Of Canada's 10 Most Expensive Penthouses Are In Toronto

When it comes to luxury real estate, Vancouver is still at the top of the list. Toronto, on the other hand, is a little further down than you'd expect.

According to a new report from Point2 Homes, Toronto is the most affordable penthouse market in Canada. The real estate blog compiled a ranking of the 10 most expensive penthouses for sale in Canada and lo and behold, the last two are located in Toronto.

Toronto and Montreal were the only cities outside of B.C. to make the list. Montreal also had two luxury penthouses on the list, however, they ranked much higher than the Toronto properties with listing prices of $15.435M and $13.435M each.

The rest of the ranking included five listings in Vancouver and one in Victoria.

Shockingly, Toronto's two properties (5401-16 Harbour St. and SPH1-261 Queens Quay E.) are nearly double the size (and almost $5M cheaper) than the two Vancouver penthouses that secured the fifth and sixth spots. Although we imagine the insane ocean views on those properties probably played a huge role in their pricing.
