Today, Toronto-based global commercial real estate firm Avison Young announced the appointment of Keith Knox as Principal and President of Occupier Services.
The newly created role will see Knox responsible for the acceleration of the firm’s global occupier platform, helping clients achieve their outcomes around space planning, facility management, productivity and more.
According to a company-issued press release, Knox will integrate Avison Young’s existing occupier offerings, tap into leading data and technology tools (including AVANT by Avison Young), and create connections and processes to make client-centric services seamless.
Knox will serve on the Executive Committee and report to Principal and President of Clients, Harry Klaff. He will also partner with Avison Young’s national Presidents, service line leaders, and AVANT teams to accelerate delivery of occupier offerings.
“We are excited to welcome Keith to the Avison Young team and I look forward to working with him on delivering integrated and customized solutions for our clients,” said Klaff. “Keith’s dynamic leadership skills and understanding of the power of culture and innovation are key to not only enhancing our current top teams, but also bringing in fresh talent as we continue to expand our occupier capabilities across the globe.”
Knox comes with more than 25 years of experience in building processes, tools, metrics, and go-to-market strategies for integrated businesses in the commercial real estate world. He most recently served as Managing Director and Sales Lead for JLL’s Integrated Portfolio Services group in the Central Region of the U.S.
“The decision to join Avison Young was easy. It’s a great company, with great leadership that is built on a collaborative and innovative culture,” commented Knox. “With everything happening on the tech side and with the investments being made in the occupier space, I’m excited for the opportunity to leverage my experience and turbocharge Avison Young’s integrated occupier services delivery platform.”
