High Park isn't the only place where you'll find cherry blossoms in the city.
According to the City of Toronto, there are 15 cherry blossom tree locations across the GTA. That means you don't have to fight through the crowds to get a glimpse (or a 'gram) of the city's Sakura.

Some of the most popular secondary locations include Trinity Bellwoods Park and the Toronto Islands Park, which have 70 and 30 Sakura, respectively.
In an effort to make High Park safer for pedestrians this cherry blossom season, the City of Toronto has placed a ban on vehicles in the park starting Saturday, May 4.

Looking to steer clear of High Park altogether? Here are all the other places where you'll find cherry blossoms in Toronto:
Birkdale Ravine
Address: 1100 Brimley Rd. (Scarborough)Number of trees: 45
Located close to Thomson Memorial Park, the cherry blossoms in this area create a tree tunnel near the Pomeroy Street and Lyon Heights Road entrance.
Broadacres Park

Easily seen from Elderfield Crescent, the cherry trees in this park are planted in rows. Just don't get too close, the area lacks paved pathways near the trees.
Cedar Ridge Park

There aren't a lot of cherry trees in this location just north of Cedar Ridge Creative Centre, but there is an interlocked driveway that leads right up to the blossoms for an up-close look.
Cedarvale Park

If you're riding your bike on the trail at Cedarvale Park, make sure you set aside some time to take in their cherry blossoms too. For those who prefer driving, the park also offers free parking at the Phil White Arena.
Centennial Park

Another location with free parking, Centennial Park's cherry blossom trees can be found along Rathburn Road on Centennial Park Boulevard and northeast of Centennial Park Conservatory.
Cherry St. and Villiers St.

Right at the northeast corner of this intersection is where you'll find these blossoming trees. While there is a paved pathway directly to the trees, you can also take in their beauty from the roadside.
Edwards Gardens

With eight medium-sized trees near the water fountain in Edwards Gardens' courtyard and two more mature trees near the bridal path entrance, this location provides two opportunities to enjoy the trees.
Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre

While the total number of trees in the area is unknown, we do know that Sakura can be found along the north, south and east sides of the building's parking lot.
John P. Robarts Research Library

Cherry trees line the pedestrian path along Huron and Harbord Sts., just minutes away from Queen's Park. This year, however, visitors will have a limited view of the trees due to construction.
Toronto Island Park

Another beloved cherry blossom location is on Centre Island next to William Meany Maze. Not only will you get to enjoy the beauty of the blossoming trees in this location, but you'll also get to enjoy a short ferry ride to the island itself.

Walk along the path from Trinity Circle to the southeast corner of the park and you'll surely come across the park's Sakura.
U of T Scarborough Campus

Woodbine Park
