Is it just us or have the holidays come and passed a bit too quickly? Fear not, however, as there are still a few days left and plenty of things to do for the last holiday of 2024 (or first holiday of 2025, depending on how you look at it.)

For those who will be taking public transit, TransLink will once again be offering free transit on New Year's Eve, starting at 5:00 pm, and services will also be provided on an extended weekday schedule, before then shifting to a Sunday / Holiday schedule for New Year's Day, meaning TransLink's offices and the West Coast Express will be closed.

(For those taking the Canada Line, this may be a good time to check out Capstan Station, which finally opened on December 20 after numerous delays.)

Once again, there will not be any New Year's Eve fireworks at Canada Place, after the festivities were cancelled in 2018, but there will be firework shows at both Grouse Mountain and Cypress Mountain.
