We all become a little Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.
Day-time drinking may be harder now that you’re getting older. Remember those years when you could wake up at 8 a.m. to start drinking and go right into the night — then wake up the next morning as if you weren’t drinking for 12 straight hours the day before?
St. Paddy's Day will bring that back out of you. You just may not recover as fast as you used to.
(If you still happen to be in that stage of life, you're lucky — for now. Your hangovers will only get worse as you age, so make the most of it while you still can.)
Now, it's not like I need to convince you to celebrate this day … But let me help you plan it.
Toronto has no shortage of spots to partake in St. Paddy's. And this list has everything from classic Irish pubs to Toronto night-life classics.
Mill St. Brewpub
Location: 21 Tank House Lane
Mill St. Brewpub is located in my personal favourite Toronto neighbourhood, The Distillery District. The classic red-brick pub is known for their beer with over 60 unique varieties. So let's talk about what they're doing to celebrate what we can only assume is their favourite holiday.
You've got nine hours to try as many of their beers as you can in that time frame. Their St. Paddy's Day bash starts at 5 p.m. and runs until 2 a.m. They promise great food and and music. What more can you ask for? Check out more event details here.
Amsterdam BrewHouse

Amsterdam BrewHouse started its celebrations early. And by early, I mean they've been celebrating all week. But you still have time to enjoy what they're offering. The BrewHouse curated special Irish dishes with the perfect beer pairing for each. All available from now until the weekend ends.
Their St. Paddy's Day party on March 17th will be filled with live music and a selection of incredible beers. And there's no cover. So go and enjoy their party ... Right on the lake.
Gladstone Hotel

Gladstone Hotel.
Head down to the Gladstone Hotel Toronto's famous boutique art hotel. The bartenders will serve up fine suds and stouts all day sponsored by Woodhouse Brewing Co. Plus, there will be live entertainment throughout the day. And, get this in the evening they're welcoming the legendary Good Enough Live Karaoke.
So if singing and beer is your thing ... I think I found you the perfect destination for St. Patrick's Day.
Brazen Head Irish Pub & Restaurant
Location: 165 East Liberty St.
Visit a classic Irish pub for an "authentic" St. Patrick's Day experience right in Liberty Village. If you're worried you won't make it to all the spots on this list on March 17th, fear not. Brazen Head will be celebrating for almost the entire weekend. On March 16th they've got what they call "St. Practice Day" followed by the actual holiday on March 17th running until 2 a.m. Enjoy local live music, incredible food, and plenty of Guinness.

Brooklynn Bar

Okay. This one you don't want to miss. Brooklynn Bar is the place to be on most weekends but especially on this day. For just 10 bucks you'll have access to a party presented by Heineken. I mean, how could you not attend an event on St. Paddy's Day that is presented by HEINEKEN?
