'THE INSIGHTS
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in wonderful Barrie, Ontario, Canada.
Where do you live now? And what neighbourhood (in Canada, or worldwide) would you love to live in (that isn’t your own)?
I currently live in Barrie, Ontario and have been here for over 20 years. If I had to choose another place to live, I’d love to be in a luxury neighbourhood in Yorkville or Bridle Path, or even somewhere with breathtaking waterfront views in cottage country. I absolutely love Canada, and to be very honest, I can’t see myself living anywhere else.
How did you end up becoming a real estate agent?
I’ve always been passionate about entrepreneurship, building wealth, and creating opportunities for myself and others. Real estate felt like the perfect industry to combine my sales skills, networking abilities, and passion for helping people make smart investments. It allows me to provide value and guidance to the people I have the honour of meeting by sticking to my core values of trust, transparency, and dedication
In a few sentences, describe what a typical “day in the life” looks like for you. Does this align with what you expected before you became an agent?
My day starts early with a structured routine. I wake up at 6:30 am, go for a 5-kilometre run, spend some quality time with my dog & get ready for the day. After, I dive straight into lead generation, following up with clients, and creating content for social media. In between, I manage my deals, schedule showings, and stay on top of market trends. My evenings involve networking, self-improvement, and planning for the next day. The hustle is real, and while I knew real estate was demanding, the level of discipline and consistency required surprised me.
What’s the single best advice you have for sellers?
Price it right from day one. Overpricing leads to stagnation, and in this market, buyers are smart and they know when a home is sitting. A properly priced home attracts the most interest and brings in competitive offers.
What’s the single best advice you have for buyers?
Stop waiting for the 'perfect' time to buy. The market moves fast, and real estate is a long-term game. If you can afford it and it makes financial sense for you, act now. Hesitation often leads to regret.
What made you choose to work for your current brokerage?
I chose my brokerage because of its strong reputation, professional support system, and commitment to excellence in the real estate industry. The leadership team fosters an environment where agents can thrive, providing access to top-tier resources, training, and market insights. Being surrounded by like-minded professionals who prioritize client success and integrity allows me to continuously grow and deliver the best results for my clients.
Who do you believe is making the biggest waves in the industry today? Is there anyone you recommend people should be paying attention to right now?
In Canada, top realtors who are leveraging social media are changing the game. Agents who are consistent with their branding, content creation, and engagement are dominating. If you're a buyer or seller, follow agents who provide genuine value & not just those who show off flashy sales.
What is one professional goal you have for the next year? What’s one that you have for the next 10 years?
I’m always learning and for next year my goal is to focus on mastering my craft, growing my client base, and becoming a trusted name in the Simcoe County Real Estate market. I want to refine my systems, elevate my marketing strategies, and build a strong foundation that allows me to serve my clients at the highest level. For the next 10 years, my long-term goal is to expand further into real estate development. I want to create a legacy of excellence by designing and building homes that offer quality, innovation and value to home owners.
Tell us about your favourite (or most memorable) sale, and why it stands out to you.
Every sale is memorable because it’s always an honour to be trusted by my clients to help them achieve their real estate goals. But if I had to choose just one, it would definitely be my first sale. Just like your first car or house, you never forget it. An elderly Italian couple was looking to downsize into retirement living but they were emotionally attached to the house. We sat together for hours, I explained my strategy and we were able to get the house sold. We still keep in touch and they’re now loving life by the water!
What are the three words you hope your clients use to describe you?
Trustworthy, driven, and results-oriented.
