Toronto-based Baker Real Estate Incorporation has announced that Harley Nakelsky has been named president of the company effective immediately.
Baker Real Estate -- Canada’s leading pre-construction residential and condominium sales and marketing company -- announced the news on Friday and also revealed that the company would be increasing its operations with a western expansion into the Greater Vancouver market.
“Harley is a seasoned professional who has been a valued member of Baker’s senior leadership team for eight years, providing our clients with sound strategic advice and sales support,” said Baker CEO, Barbara Lawlor. “This expanded role, along with our ongoing investments in talent and technology, provides us with a strong foundation to grow our business and serve clients across Canada.”

As president of Baker Real Estate, Nakelsky will be directly involved in the operations of sales and marketing for developments, establishing and managing sales offices, selling out condominium projects, and increasing the developer’s top line.
Nakelsky has been running sales and marketing campaigns for 16 years, previously working as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a well known international development company, as well as a Toronto-based real estate consulting firm which implemented marketing and sales programs for multi-family projects in Canada, the United States. and Mexico.

In addition to Nakelsky transitioning into his presidential role, Baker also announced the company is expanding into the Greater Vancouver market with the launch of Baker West, providing the firm’s bespoke service to its clients and local developers.
Jeff Clark, Senior Vice President will continue to be responsible for the company's international initiatives, including the development of Baker West and the partnerships that will ensure our success in the Vancouver area, and Debbie LaFave, Senior Vice President, will continue to lead Baker's successful business in the Montreal market.
