Good news for Line 3 riders: the TTC has reduced this weekend's full closure to a single day.

After almost a full week of early weeknight closures, Scarborough Line riders will return to regularly scheduled service on Monday. For those heading to Pride celebrations this weekend, please note four routes will be affected during the festivities due to road closures.

What’s Closed

There will be no subway service on Line 3 between Kennedy and McCowan stations starting from 11 p.m. on Saturday until Monday morning. The closure includes Lawrence East, Ellesmere, Midland and Scarborough Centre terminals. The closure has been reduced from a full-weekend closure to a single day on Sunday.

How To Navigate The Closure

Shuttle buses will operate along the normal subway route. Buses will stop at all the regular subway station stops, just outside the typical zone. Wheel-Trans service will also be available.

How To Pay

If you’re paying with PRESTO during the subway closure just tap your card when you first board the TTC.

If you are transferring from the subway to a shuttle bus or from a shuttle bus to the subway, don’t tap your PRESTO card again. Unlike normal subway to bus transfers, shuttle buses do not need a second tap.

Cash and token fares will still be accepted on the shuttle bus, which will get you a transfer onto the subway (and vice versa).

Normal service will resume on Monday morning.
