Over the course of two weeks, The Creativity Everything Lab will teach and train creatives at all skill levels how to hone their craft. Friday's sessions include workshops on poetry and comedy. 2. Eid Market

4. Planting For Pollinators

Downsview Park's free nature program doesn't quit. This weekend, families are invited to the park to learn about planting for pollinators. Participants will plant flowers and grass to make the park a better home for bees, butterflies and birds.

5. Bed In For Peace

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Bed In For Peace. The celebration, held at The Omni King Edward Hotel, will include a tour of the hotel's Beatles' suite as well as special presentations from rock photographer John Rowlands, Beatles historian Piers Hemmingsen and Emmy award winner Jerry Levitan. Reservations are required for this event.

6. Toronto Poutine Fest

Try more than 50 varieties of gourmet poutine at this ultra-Canadian food festival. While the event is free to attend, you may want to bring some cash so you aren't limited to free samples.
