Good news for subway riders, there are no TTC closures scheduled for this weekend.

Instead of shutting down stations on the weekend, the TTC has been doing most of its repairs late at night on weekdays.

Earlier this week, the TTC shut down 10 stations at 11 p.m., just a few hours shy of their regular hours.

Moving into next week, five stations will close at 11 p.m. to allow for corridor maintenance.

Here’s what you need to know:

What’s Closed

From March 10 to March 13, the portion of Line 1 between Finch and Lawrence will be shut down in the evening for corridor maintenance. Affected stations include North York Centre, Sheppard-Yonge and York Mills.

TTC Closure Finch to Lawrence

How To Navigate The Closure

Shuttle buses will operate along the normal subway route. At Finch and Lawrence stations, shuttles will load and offload inside the station. At North York Centre, shuttles will load and offload southbound at Yonge Street and Park Home Avenue and northbound at Yonge Street and Empress Avenue. At Sheppard, shuttles will load and offload north of Sheppard Avenue on Yonge Street. At York Mills, shuttles will load and offload on Yonge Street north of Wilson Avenue/York Mills Road.

Wheel-Trans service will also be available within the closure area. Customers travelling north on Line 1 who require an accessible connection should exit at Eglinton Station since Lawrence is not yet accessible.

How To Pay

If you’re paying with PRESTO during the subway closure just tap your card when you first board the TTC.

If you are transferring from the subway to a shuttle bus or from a shuttle bus to the subway, don’t tap your PRESTO card again. Unlike normal subway to bus transfers, shuttle buses do not need a second tap.

Cash and token fares will still be accepted on the shuttle bus, which will get you a transfer onto the subway (and vice versa).

Normal service will resume at 6 a.m. when the subway normally opens.
